If you are a consumer within the meaning of Czech law (a natural person acting outside your business), you have statutory rights in connection with a contract for legal services, including rights from defective performance and general consumer protection, where applicable.
Service provider: legal services are provided by BEHENSKÝ & PARTNERS s. r. o., with registered office at Blažimská 1781/4, 149 00 Prague 4 – Chodov, company ID 032 10 677, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague, file ref. C 228690. Contact: details in the Contact section.
Right to withdraw from the contract: If you are a consumer using our legal services outside your business, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of concluding it, provided we have not yet started work on your matter. By paying for a booked consultation or a pro forma invoice, you expressly request that we begin providing the legal service immediately rather than waiting for this period to expire — in that case you owe a proportionate payment for any performance not yet provided, depending on the circumstances. You can withdraw by e-mail at info@akbehensky.cz; we will refund your payment no later than 14 days after receiving your notice. A booked and paid consultation can also be rescheduled or cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before it is due to take place. The full rules are set out in Section 7 of our terms of service.
Out-of-court dispute resolution: A consumer may submit a proposal for out-of-court resolution of a consumer dispute to the Czech Bar Association (details and conditions are set by law and ČAK rules). Information on the EU online dispute resolution platform (ODR) is available on the European Commission website; use depends on meeting legal requirements.
Specific rights and obligations are governed by the contract for legal services and applicable law. This notice is for general information; your matter is governed by the contract and individual explanation by your attorney.
